Lois was sitting on the leather chair, and rested her hands on the mahogany desk in front of her. It had been hours since she had last seen Clark. She was starting to get worried, but then realized that if there was anybody out there who could make the world right again, it was Clark Kent.
The only problem was that the world didn't truly know him and people always feared what they didn't understand. And these days, the threat had gone up ten times. Still, Lois had faith in Clark.
A reluctant smile crept up on Lois' lips.
She had thought that it would never happen, that Lois Lane would never truly fall in love with anyone. Fate must have been laughing at her all those years. But, Lois didn't mind. For once, she was glad that she had not defied the norm, and did what millions of young women did every other day – fall madly and irrevocably in love with a man.
She knew it was not the time to contemplate on such things, what with the world in chaos, not to mention all the personal trials she and everybody around her had to bear. Still, the thought of Clark, of the good soul he possessed, gave Lois hope.
Lois then got up and stood before the large window behind the desk. From her position, she could almost see the whole of Metropolis beneath her. She was standing on the top floor of one of the tallest building in this city, and it looked as if the city was at her feet.
The funny thing was, there was actually someone out there who could bring the city down to its knees. And yet, that man, well an other-worldly being actually, was the one fighting to make sure that Metropolis, and the rest of the world, survived.
Images of that face flashed before her eyes, one after another. Taller than most men, hard body, dark hair, green eyes, sharp nose, and a mouth to die for...
Clark.
Lois felt ashamed of herself, for thinking such lustful thoughts when the world was in peril. Everyone she knew was...lost. Her mother, her father, her sister, Chloe, and now Oliver. There was no one for Lois.
Except the world's savior – the man she admired, the man she...loved.
Again, Lois wondered if it was wrong of her to love someone like Clark.
Should she love this man? Was this her destiny?
"No," Lois whispered. "No, no, no. I shouldn't love him, shouldn't love Clark. He's not..."
"Lois?"
Lois whirled around at the sound of her name. "Clark?"
He "whooshed" in front of her, and wanted to get closer, but then held back. Lois knew what he was waiting for. Clark was wondering if it would be alright by her if he embraced her. Lois could tell from the way Clark was watching her, gauging every emotion that crossed her features.
Lois knew it was wrong, because it was not the right time and she wasn't his...yet, but she was so lonely. So, not caring about the consequences, she gave in to him.
Clark wrapped his arms around her back, almost at the same time Lois entwined her ones around his neck. She then rested her head on his broad chest. It felt like she was finally home.
"Wha-what happened? I waited for you since morning, wondering if you'd see me before you went away..." Lois asked, as he slowly moved them sideways, like a rhythm to a slow dance.
"I tried everything in my power. There's no way out. The thing has been destroyed, I believe. It seems like...this is the reality from now on."
Lois looked up in his eyes at his words, and Clark looked back down at her. "And I can't imagine surviving in a world where there's no Lois Lane to love me."
She closed her eyes and knew the impossible had happened. As selfish as it was of her, but the truth was, Clark was only hers now. They would talk later, and she was sure he'd tell her what had happened, but for now, she didn't care. It might be too soon after what happened to Oliver, but Lois was finally in the arms of the man she loved.
Her Clark.
And he was Clark all right, but just not the Clark Luthorcorp Media's best reporter had fallen for. Clark Luthor smiled with glee as he hugged the widow of the late Mr Queen. With her believing him to be Clark Kent trapped in her world, Mrs Queen would help clear his name. And even if she didn't, it wouldn't matter.
With the blond billionaire dead, Lois was the sole owner of Queen Industries. Not only that, with Lex dead, Lionel in the other world, Tess also murdered by Lionel's goons and Clark Luthor missing, because he certainly didn't plan on revealing his true identity, Lois Lane-Queen would also be able to buy out Luthorcorp with Queen's money.
And they would all be his. Clark Luthor's.
He'd keep Lois too, of course. She was smart, drop-dead gorgeous and oh-so-vulnerable right now. He wanted such a woman in his bed all the time, to fulfill his insatiable lust for the female body.
Clark ran his long fingers down her back and palmed her ass, subtly bringing her lower body close to his. She whimpered a little, but otherwise made no noise of protestation. Clark grinned.
Because yes, Lois Lane would stay with him, even when he one day revealed his truth to her. After all, where else would she go? Accordiong to the fates, the stars, no matter what...Lois and Clark were destined to be together in every world.
A/N: I'm not a big fan of a redeemable CL. Hence, yes, this is what I believe would happen after CL was sent to his own world in SV s10-Kent. He wouldn't change. And from their limited interaction, I feel like AULois already had fallen for CK.
Hope you all enjoyed this one .
