Is it petty of me to be pissed that Lois was listed after freaking Oliver and Chloe. And that it's Sullivan-Queen but not Lane-Kent? So he's going to have to fill in the 7 year gap.

Not at all, Shay, 'cause I feel the same way.
This was what I wrote over at DM:
I'm happy that Sam Lane will be back, but at the moment, what excites me most about this project (since I've mixed feeling about it) is the idea of seeing Clark and esp Lois, in Tom and Erica's images .
My 3 main concerns about this novel:
3) Too much story line wasted on Chlollie/Tess
2) Lana/another woman trying to keep Clois apart
1) Not giving Lois enough importance or minimizing her time on the novel 'cause that's what's happening in the reboot and looks like this novel follows the reboot already since the cover art work shows Superman without the red trunks (despite the fact that the animated version of Supes in SV had the underoos).

Yeah I'm happy about seeing the Tom/Erica images.
3.) I'm extremely worried about too much Chlollie since they were listed after Clark. They gave Chloe so much importance on the show. They let her have it all the career (watchtower and reporting), the guy, and the kid. Tess is suppose to be dead unless they make it that Lex somehow saved her since he wouldn't know who she was.
2.) Well since he has to fill in the 7 year gap they better not say they were broken up off/on that's why it took them so long to get married. I will blow a gasket.
1.) That's my biggest fear. Lois wasn't important in SV and She's no longer important in the comics. I'm weary. I'm not excited about this comic at all.

And also since Chloe fans are so loud and demanding. I can imagine them try to drive the story like on SV. I won't be surprise if the Lana fans come out and do the same.

Oh, I also forgot, in the reboot we have General Lane too. In fact, he gets more time with Supes than Lois does.
So, yeah, you can imagine why the novel isn't that appealing to me.

Yeah it's not appealing to me either. My top two fears is not enough Lois and too much Chlollie. Also, I'm worried they will have Chloe introduce Clark to Batman and Wonder Woman. Ugh the thought makes my head hurt.

I hope not. But you never know.
I mean, BQM doesn't have the best legacy for writing Clois.
Committed and Hex were good, but Warrior and Luthor? Not so much.

Well I will say that I believe those stories (Warrior and Luthor) could have been better if there were different directors. Allison M. for Warrior and Kelly H. for Luthor. It wasn't the writing it was the direction for me. Allison could have directed the Zatanna scene differently. She didn't have to have Zatanna all predatory. Kelly could have not had Cless all in each other faces. She could have Clois touch more. I really think it was direction and not the writing. So I'm praying that BQM kicks butt like he did in Hex, Committed, and Masquerade. He had the Clois banter and all. But I won't hold my breath.

My only hope is that BQM said his fave moment, other than what he wrote in Committed (guess that interview was right after Committed) was the Clois dunk tank scene.
So, I hope he's a Cloiser.
Also, the Finale part 2 gave Lois great moments (except for naming Superman part) and I hope to see much more of it in the novel.
Only then will I be happy.

The comic starts 6 months after his debut. So I guess we'll see. I'll admit my jealousy when it comes to this but if we have to sit through Chlollie getting pregnant and all that jazz I will scream. I NEED a decent storyline for the Superman family since they aren't doing it right in the comics now. I'll just gauge the internet response before making any purchase.

I was pretty upset that we got to see Clark, Chloe, Lana and Pete in comic format in the finale, but not Lois.
Hence, that's all I'm looking forward too - Lois Lane looking like Erica.
Anyways, I know there will be Chlollie, but no preggers chapter please.
Plus, it's s11, and Chloe's kid was 5, so hopefully we won't have to see it all in the novel.

Yeah a Lois Lane in comic book form using Erica's likeness. I will have that framed. lol Yeah SV almost gave me ulcers being pissed about Lois/Erica's place in it. So, I guess it's just wait and see.
I am happy for those who wanted it. Thankfully Kelly and Brian have NOTHING to do with it. B/c then all of our fears would have come true. Lol.

Or Al/Miles . Lol. See, other than seeing Erica as Lois Lane, if they can keep up the Clois banter and give Lois a strong arc, I'll definitely get the novel. Heck, I'd probably get it anyways, just for the images, if indeed Lois looks like Erica. I mean, Clark sure does look like TW.

Oh yeah I forgot about them. lol. I just can't believe they couldn't have Clois married.
But I'll be back later.
